The Course is designed for medical professionals who want to master the repair of third and fourth-degree perineal tears. Perineal Tear & Episiotomy repair course will offer deep understanding the theory of perineal trauma and repair techniques, vaginal anatomy, essential and challenging surgical skills, identification and classification of perineal tears, experiencing advanced and experts guided intense hands-on sessions focused on enhancing skills on 3rd and 4th degree perineal tears, and episiotomies. The course’s aim is to standardize the management techniques of perineal repair to reduce litigations and to improve patient outcome.
The course enables a clear understanding the importance of recognizing obstetric anal sphincter injuries, surgical options combined with holistic approach, the consequences of missed diagnosis and poor repair techniques will be demonstrated, the course is carefully designed covering both theoretical foundations and practical applications, providing proficient understanding of perineal repair from anatomy and diagnosis to advanced surgical interventions, leaving the attendees with a comprehensive competencies dealing with challenges and complications to improve and manage wound healing process considering to minimizing risk of long-term complications.
