To facilitate licensed healthcare professionals with hands-on simulation-based practice on OASIS techniques using professional anatomical mannequins and relevant tissue blocks, enabling the participants to enhance procedural skills in a safe controlled learning environment
Obstetrics anal sphincter description is major cause of anal incontinence. There are evidence of clinicians having training gap in recognizing and managing 3rd & 4th degree tears, and they are inadequately trained to classify and perform appropriate repair of injuries.
The course will enable a clear understanding, the importance of recognizing obstetrics anal sphincter injuries, surgical options combined with holistic approach knowing the consequences of missing diagnosis and inadequate repairs.
Intensive and instructional based practical hands-on sessions under supervision and guidance of experienced trainer/s in friendly and relaxed environment, taking the trainees away from the clinical atmosphere to an interactive platform, where participants will be having privilege of practicing one-on-one on dedicated professional anatomical tissue models designed closer to real anatomy dealing external and internal sphincters and all relevant expects of perineal closure involving 3rd & 4th degree tears, experiencing realistic feedback of human tissues, ending with steps of rectal examination in safe, controlled, guided and more importantly in a hygienic environment.

· Practicing end-to-end and overlap techniques
· Practicing suturing skills and reconstruction of perineal tears and anal sphincter trauma extensively
· Working in pair of 2 on each trainer model for adequate practicing

Cancellation & refund policy
ALMAQAM C&S Organizing will take all measures in organizing and arranging the execution of the course including all contents of the course as per given agenda. However, the organizing committee reserve the right to make any modification, OR substitute any part of the agenda either by informing OR without any prior notice under any unmanageable situation OR due to any unforeseen reason/s.
In addition, ALMAQAM C&S Organizing hold the right to either postpone OR to cancel the course due to any unforeseen circumstances
Participant’s Registration withdrawal / substitution policy:
If any registered candidate is unable to attend, a substitute candidate will be acceptable as replacement. In case of no substitute a 25% administration fee will be applied within 30 days prior to course date, for withdrawal a refund of 50% registration fee will be applicable three weeks prior to course date. No refund will be offered two weeks prior to course date.
